Key qualifications and desired background:

• Active SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working in school-based or similar pediatric settings
• Familiarity with high school student needs; full-time caseload management
• Bilingual skills are highly preferred, though not mandatory
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other school professionals

Core responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for high school students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapeutic interventions and monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely records per school and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
