- Performing meticulous patient evaluations, acquiring necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic ailments in conjunction with physicians or independently (based on credentialing)
- Providing education to patients and families on prevention, wellness, and managing chronic diseases
- Prescribing medications and treatments within your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-up to manage chronic care
- Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Pennsylvania
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or able to obtain within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical judgment complemented by a caring bedside demeanor
- Outstanding communication abilities with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Flexibility in dynamic, patient-centered environments
- Competency in EMR systems and comfort with telehealth technologies
- A cooperative mindset along with a commitment to evidence-based practices
