Work Environment

The position is based at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Middletown, NJ, which is known for its warm and inviting atmosphere. The standard work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, offering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' specific rehabilitation goals, developing personalized treatment plans that include a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing mobility.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring each session offers a thorough and individualized approach to care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that focus on restoring strength, flexibility, and functional mobility, using cost-effective methods to minimize reliance on medication.
• Design customized exercise regimens that are tailored to each patient's unique physical needs and recovery objectives.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a supportive environment that promotes successful rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, ensuring comprehensive care by consulting with physicians, nurses, and other specialists in patient treatment plans.
• Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly, utilizing EMR software such as WebPT to maintain compliance and optimize treatment efficacy.
• Evaluate patient outcomes regularly to adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring continuous improvement in care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The successful candidate will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic procedures, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Our focus on outpatient care means that you will interact with diverse individuals from various backgrounds, each with unique challenges and rehabilitation goals. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with verification of no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques that enhance patient recovery outcomes.
• A strong understanding and experience in designing and implementing individualized exercise programs.
• Experience using EMR Software, specifically WebPT, to ensure accurate patient documentation and comprehensive care records.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a clear understanding of rehabilitation practices specific to this patient population.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing fitness and wellness programs that foster long-term patient health.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
