Food Service Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Worker to join our team in Geneva, IN.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 2+ years of experience in food service industry
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Follow all established service plans as outlined in the Nutrition and service area manuals.
• In collaboration with the supervisor receive, unpack, food, supplies, and date according to procedures.
• Conducts weekly inventory. Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain accurate records of all food service activities
• Post monthly menus in English, Spanish, and Creole (as needed) in the kitchen and Parent's Bulletin Board and document substitution as needed with the Center Director's approval prior to meal service.
