Mortgage Servicing & Secondary ManagerWest Jordan, Utah | On-SiteA great mortgage experience doesn't end at closing. At Cyprus Credit Union, we're looking for an experienced Mortgage Servicing & Secondary Manager to lead the teams and processes that support our members and mortgage portfolio long after a loan closes.Strong mortgage servicing experience is essential for this role. We're looking for someone who understands the day-to-day complexities of servicing a mortgage portfolio and can provide knowledgeable leadership across servicing, post-closing, and secondary market operations.In this role, you will have primary responsibility for our Mortgage Servicing operations, including oversight of our third-party sub-servicer, escrow administration, servicing transfers, payoffs, default management, construction loan servicing, investor reporting, member inquiries, and servicing compliance. You will help ensure servicing activities are accurate, timely, compliant, and provide a positive experience for our members.You will also oversee our Post-Closing and Secondary Market functions, helping ensure loans are delivered accurately and on time and that agency and investor requirements are met. This includes oversight of loan sales, pricing and hedging activities, investor relationships, collateral delivery, and secondary market performance and profitability.As part of the Mortgage leadership team, you will work closely with senior leadership to strengthen servicing operations, improve processes and controls, monitor department performance, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.Just as importantly, you will lead and develop the people behind these functions. You will coach and support employees across multiple mortgage operations teams, establish clear expectations, encourage collaboration, and build a culture of accountability, consistency, and excellent service.What You'll BringWe're looking for a mortgage professional with significant hands-on knowledge of mortgage servicing operations and the ability to lead a servicing function effectively. You should understand areas such as escrow administration, servicing transfers, payoffs, defaults, investor reporting, sub-servicer oversight, servicing regulations, and agency and investor requirements.Experience with post-closing and secondary market operations is also important, including knowledge of loan delivery, pricing, hedging, investor relationships, and mortgage profitability. Strong leadership, communication, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential.A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent mortgage industry experience may be considered.At Cyprus Credit Union, we've proudly served Utah communities for more than 95 years by putting people first.
