Gun Barrel City Wings LLC is looking for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations in Rockwall, TX! This is your chance to take the helm of a high-energy kitchen environment, driving quality, consistency, and team performance. If you thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting and love great food, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Oversee all back-of-house operations, ensuring food quality and consistency on every plate
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage kitchen staff to maintain a high-performing team
- Monitor food prep, cooking techniques, and presentation standards
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth, efficient service
- 1+ years of kitchen management or lead cook experience in a restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe certification (preferred)
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a kitchen team
- Experience with inventory management, food costing, and ordering
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
