Location: Pasadena, TX Schedule: 9/80 Type: W2 Contract (C2C is not available) Duration: 6 months Benefits: Dental, Health, Vision & 401(k) * This position does not offer relocation assistance Overview We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to deploy, maintain, and manage the lifecycle of PCN/OT application systems. This role is responsible for ensuring cybersecurity compliance, risk management, asset monitoring, software license administration, and operating system/software patch management across operational technology and business network environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience supporting Windows-based infrastructure, and a passion for maintaining secure and reliable application environments. Key Responsibilities Deploy, maintain, and support PCN/OT application systems. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and risk management requirements. Manage software licensing, asset inventories, and system monitoring. Perform operating system and application patch management. Support server-based applications in both on-premises and Azure environments. Participate in application deployment, upgrade, and lifecycle management projects. Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues. Create and maintain technical documentation for supported systems and infrastructure. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to implement technology solutions. Required Qualifications Experience supporting and troubleshooting server-based applications in both on-premises and Azure environments. Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server platforms. Experience supporting application platform deployments, upgrades, testing, and implementation projects. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify, communicate, and resolve issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environments and security concepts, including Purdue Model, Air‑Gapped Networks, and Zero Trust Architecture. Experience with Azure Infrastructure‑as‑a‑Service (IaaS) and Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) solutions. Experience developing and maintaining PowerShell automation scripts. Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi, VMware vCenter, and VxRail (preferred). Associate's Degree (2‑year) or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Microsoft certifications related to Windows Server and Azure. Experience deploying and supporting Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, or other distributions). Experience administering infrastructure environments while maintaining cybersecurity compliance, risk management, and information governance. Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Tenable, Nessus, Tanium, and equivalent cybersecurity and compliance platforms. Understanding of Agile methodologies, SAFe Framework, and experience using Azure DevOps (ADO). What We're Looking For Ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms.
