As a vital member of the Security and Intelligence Operations Branch, you will do more than just enforce policy-you will be an active guardian of our national security. You will help administer a robust, multi-disciplinary security program while directly supporting the elite Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environments where our most advanced capabilities are born.

What You'll Accomplish:

- Defend the Mission: Actively protect the organization against espionage, terrorism, and unauthorized disclosure, safeguarding data and systems that are absolutely vital to national defense.

- Master Multi-Disciplinary Security: Administer and implement a comprehensive suite of security protocols, spanning Physical, Personnel, Information, Industrial, Operations (OPSEC), and Communications Security (COMSEC).

- Protect Elite Programs: Provide dedicated security, force protection, and antiterrorism support for highly classified Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) enclaves.

- Integrate Intelligence with Engineering: Go beyond traditional security by supporting tailored, all-source intelligence analysis and production. Your work will directly inform, guide, and protect the development and sustainment of the military's most critical software systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- U.S. Citizenship

- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise

- May be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments

- Designated as a National Security Position

- Designated drug testing position. The employee is subject to random drug testing.

- "Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) conferral is required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position in accordance with DOD 3305.13-M, DoD Security Accreditation and Certification and AFI 36-2645, Security Professional Certification and Development. The listed certification requirements may not be deleted or modified without the written approval of the AF Security Functional Authority (SAF/AA) or their delegated security career field representative."

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Extensive knowledge of information, personnel, physical, industrial, communications and operations security concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement security in these areas.

2. Comprehensive knowledge of required security training concepts, programs, procedures, and practices to assist managers in establishing and operating internal security programs.

3. Skill in developing, analyzing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the organization

4. Ability to establish effective, professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
