Security Systems Sales & Operations Specialist

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $45,000 - $65,000/year

As a Security Systems Sales & Operations Specialist, you will serve as a key customer contact, identify security needs, recommend solutions, support branch operations, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and security solution inquiries
• Promote and sell security solutions including CCTV, intrusion alarms, access control, fire alarm systems, monitoring services, and equipment services
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate security and life-safety solutions
• Conduct customer follow-ups and maintain strong client relationships
• Manage daily branch operations including scheduling, customer records, and transactions
• Coordinate with technicians, installers, and internal teams to support project execution
• Conduct customer site visits and job-site walkthroughs to evaluate requirements
• Assist with basic security system layouts, documentation, and project coordination
• Support inventory management, equipment tracking, and local business development activities

What You Bring

• Experience in sales, customer service, branch operations, or another customer-facing role
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience

• Security industry experience preferred
• Background in CCTV, access control, fire alarm, low-voltage, or life-safety systems
• Experience with site surveys, customer assessments, or security system layouts
• Familiarity with blueprints or installation documentation
• Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Visio, D-Tools, or similar software
• Security sales, estimating, project coordination, or technical sales experience
