Our childcare center is looking to hire teachers! We are looking for energetic, driven individuals to join our team!
Responsibilities include: providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children, planning activities for the children, communicating with families, and following ODJFS guidelines and Step Up To Quality rules.
- Planning: Creating daily lesson plans, age-appropriate activities, and schedules that include physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Teaching: Providing education through play, music, arts and crafts, reading, writing, and physical activities
- Caring: Maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment for children
- Observing: Assessing and documenting each child's health, skills, behavior, growth, and development.
- Communicating: Interacting with children and parents to discuss their progress
- Skills: passionate about working with children, flexible, dependable, team player, responsible, and good communication skills. A high school diploma is required. A CDA or Associate's degree is preferred.
