Compensation: $30–$32 per hour

Mission Prep Healthcare, part of the AMFM Healthcare family, is looking for compassionate and experienced Group Facilitators to lead engaging, evidence-based group sessions for adolescents ages 12–17.

Our Group Facilitators specialize in areas such as yoga, art, fitness, horticulture, music, meditation, Reiki, and other therapeutic or wellness-focused practices. In this role, you will use your specialized training to create structured group experiences that support clients navigating mental health concerns, co-occurring mood disorders, substance use, and severe suicidal ideation.

We are seeking skilled, compassionate, and dependable individuals who can use their professional expertise to facilitate meaningful group sessions. The ideal candidate has experience working with clients experiencing mental health and/or substance-use concerns and can maintain a safe, structured, and supportive group environment.

• Age: Must be 21 years of age or older

• Education: High school diploma or GED with an acceptable credential or certification in a specialty field

• Specialty Certification: Credential or certification in an applicable field, such as fitness, yoga, music, art, meditation, Reiki, or another relevant specialty

• Experience: Previous experience facilitating groups for clients with mental health and/or addiction concerns

• Background Check: Successful completion of the ADP Selective Screening Services background check and any other company, state, or federal background and record checks

• Certifications and Clearances: Current CPR/First Aid certification and tuberculosis clearance

• Physical Requirements: Ability to use computers and electronic systems, communicate effectively through written and verbal formats, sit for extended periods, and lift up to 10 pounds

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, human services, or a field relevant to the candidate’s profession from an accredited university

• Certification or licensure within the Group Facilitator’s area of expertise, such as Trauma-Informed Therapy or Certified Meditation Instructor

• Experience working with acute clients who may have co-occurring mood disorders, substance-use concerns, or severe suicidal ideation

• Strong group-facilitation and participant-engagement skills

• Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, families, colleagues, and other stakeholders

• Excellent conflict-resolution, crisis-intervention, and de-escalation skills

• Ability to prepare and deliver organized, evidence-based group content

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to produce accurate, clear, and timely clinical documentation

• Knowledge of clinical and medical terminology related to behavioral healthcare

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound independent decisions

• Strong organization, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to maintain professionalism, a positive attitude, and collaborative working relationships

• Proficiency with computers, electronic health records, and standard office equipment

As a Group Facilitator , you will lead structured group sessions within your area of expertise while supporting each client’s treatment goals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitate scheduled groups within your area of specialty, as directed by clinical leadership

• Develop organized, evidence-based group topics, objectives, curricula, and materials

• Prepare the room and necessary materials to ensure all participants can safely engage in the discussion or activity

• Establish clear objectives, set an appropriate tone, and provide a strong introduction for each group

• Engage participants and guide discussions or activities effectively throughout the group

• Provide therapeutic interventions relevant to your field of expertise and within your professional scope of practice

• Deliver services in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and established mental health and substance-use standards

• Maintain accurate electronic health records that reflect the course of treatment

• Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive notes that align with each client’s treatment-plan goals and objectives

• Complete all required documentation within the organization’s 24-hour submission standard

• Assess client safety and provide appropriate interventions in accordance with AMFM Healthcare policies and procedures

• Adhere to all applicable Joint Commission, DHS, DHCS, licensing, and regulatory standards

• Follow organizational policies related to professional ethics, duty to warn, and abuse and neglect reporting

• Collaborate with clinical leadership and other departments to support effective program operations

• Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, trainings, and other required activities

• Maintain professionalism and uphold AMFM Healthcare’s standards at all times
