Contracts ManagerLocation: Annapolis Junction, MDReports To: CEO / COOJob Type: Full-timeClearance Requirement: TS/SCI with PolygraphSummary: As a Contracts Manager, you will serve as a trusted business partner and take ownership of the contracts and subcontracts function supporting LufCo's growing portfolio of federal work. We are looking for an experienced contracts professional who can balance compliance with business needs; someone who is equally comfortable navigating FAR/DFARS requirements, negotiating agreements, advising leadership, partnering with programs teams, and supporting proposals and growth initiatives. You will help establish the processes, policies and contractual infrastructure that allow the business to operate effectively, manage risk, and scale responsibly.This role will support and represent LufCo with our government customers, industry partners, and internal leadership, with a significant presence in the Ft. We offer an agile, people-first environment where your expertise is valued, your access to decision-makers is direct and your work has a visible impact on both mission delivery and LufCo's continued growth.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, negotiate, manage and ensure compliance for federal contracts and subcontracts of various contract types (CPFF term/completion, T&M, FFP, etc.)Serve as contract manager / liaison across company brandsDocument compliant contract, subcontract and purchasing policy, procedures templates and files as well as various federal (such as FAR, DFARS) and international requirements (such as ITAR, SOFA, visas)Document, issue and administer subcontract/purchasing actionsServe as primary interface with government contracting officialsCoordinate with company PM, team leads, project controllers as well as government COR and team leads, and subcontract POCsAuthor/update corporate documents such as NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Licensing, etc.Serve as the interface for DCAA, DCMA and other Government agenciesServe as a primary team member on proposal efforts across various customersDrive company growth through business developmentQualificationsEducation:Bachelor's Degree in a related fieldExperience:5+ years of experience working with federal contracts and subcontractsSkills:Current TS/SCI security clearance with PolygraphWorking knowledge of federal contracting requirements to include FAR, DFARS, as well as command specific policyFamiliarity with development of contracts, agreements, MOU and other legal requirementsExperience defining, negotiation and managing scope, cost and deliverablesExperience crafting winning proposalsStrong communication (verbal and written) and team leadership skillsDesired: CPCM™, CFCM™, CCCM™, and CCMA™ or DAWIA certPhysical Requirements:Ability to travel as required.Standard office environment with occasional requirements to visit client sites, labs, or field environments.Why Join Us?Impactful Work: Contribute to critical national security initiatives and make a real difference in protecting our nation.Cutting-Edge Technology: Work with the latest advancements in SIGINT and related fields.Career Growth: Opportunities for professional development, training, and advancement within a growing company.Collaborative Environment: Join a team of highly skilled and supportive engineers who are passionate about their work.Comprehensive Benefits: Competitive salary, generous PTO, health/dental/vision insurance, 401K matching, tuition reimbursement.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive Pay: Annual salary ranges from $75,000 to $150,000.
