The Program Manager Lead will provide leadership and guidance with bids, proposals, and all aspects of the execution of awarded aircraft contracts. This position will be responsible for sustaining Program Management processes and approaches with Programmed Depot Maintenance and Modification, Installation, Test & Data efforts across -135 airborne platforms and directs all phases of programs from inception through completion Essential Functions: * Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned programs or subsystems of major programs. * Coordinates and provides guidance in the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract. * Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. * Acts as primary customer contact for program activities; leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. * Fulfills customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and continued business. * Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. * Establishes program plans, milestones, and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules. * Develops control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identifies program problems, and obtains solutions such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. * Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, production and administrative areas. * Ensures the meeting of company's contract commitments. * Sets the highest ethical standards for self and others. Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. * Demonstrated ability in project management, with exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills. * Experience interfacing with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and management personnel onsite and offsite. * Active DoD Secret Security Clearance Preferred Additional Skills: * Knowledgeable of proposal development process. * Experience with integrated program scheduling, risk management, subcontracts, and EVMS. * Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Strong organizational skills. * Strong technical aptitude. * Strong aeronautical engineering background.
