Become a Key Player as a Machinist A You will produce precision components that support critical manufacturing goals for the organization. You’ll work closely with production technicians, engineers, and quality personnel to meet production targets and maintain strict quality and safety standards. This is an onsite role on 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM) with occasional Saturdays as needed in Simi Valley, CA. Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines and conventional equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, presses) Perform machine setups, adjustments, and routine maintenance to keep production running Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job travelers to ensure correct part production Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for machining operations Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify product quality Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances Troubleshoot machine and process issues to minimize downtime Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines independently Experience setting up and running machining equipment (lathes, mills, presses) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong proficiency using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) Basic math skills for machining and measurement tasks Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Must be able to work 2nd shift and occasional weekends Candidates must demonstrate proficiency using calipers and micrometers during the interview Here’s What Else Might Help You Out Vocational training, apprenticeship, or technical certification Experience with both CNC and manual machining Background in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments Pay Range $25.00 - $27.50/hour Ready to Make Your Mark?
