You’ll be writing reports, emailing clients, and explaining compliance standards without sounding like a robot You are vary detail oriented and so detail oriented that punctuation and grammar and spelling mistakes make you cringe and you canot stand it when sentences are butchered and continue to run on like they will never end. You will be busy, IT can be stressful, but what job isn’t? What you will be doing The Accounting Specialist handles day-to-day accounting tasks. They are responsible for accurate and timely entry of data in the accounting software for Method Technologies and will be the go-to person for finance questions. They are also responsible for maintaining all accounts receivable, including receiving payments and following up with clients. Core Accounting & Finance Support Manage day‑to‑day accounting entries with accuracy and consistency Serve as a go‑to resource for internal finance questions Assist leadership with accounting and finance‑related projects as needed Accounts Receivable / Payable Receive and apply client payments Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue invoices Process vendor invoices and ensure proper documentation Bookkeeping Accurately record credit card transactions Research and resolve discrepancies Financial Reporting Assist with reconciliations and month‑end close Prepare journal entries and account reviews Help improve accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls Payroll & Compliance Support Assist with payroll processing Support onboarding/offboarding paperwork Assist with sales tax reporting and state registrations Manage vendor and independent contractor compliance Why you’ll want us to hire you The people here are amazing!
