Overview Job Title: Accounting Specialist Location: Fountain Valley, CA (100% Onsite) Employment Type: Temporary (with possibly temp to hire) Pay: $29-$31/hr. DOE Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:00AM - 5:00PM Our client, a well-established and expanding organization, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their headquarters team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance department within a growing company. Position Summary The Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting the integrity and accuracy of financial operations by applying established accounting standards and procedures. This position plays a key role in financial reporting and analysis to ensure timely and reliable financial information. Key Responsibilities Prepare and assist with financial statements, reports, and budgeting activities Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Monitor and manage organizational revenues and expenses Review and audit financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance Support forecasting efforts and evaluate financial risks Qualifications and Requirements 3+ years of experience in general accounting Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA designation is preferred but not required Desired Skills and Experience Financial Reporting General Ledger Accounting Account Reconciliation Month-End Close Financial Analysis Budgeting & Forecasting Variance Analysis GAAP Microsoft Excel ERP Systems (SAP/Oracle) All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
