Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, using standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, promoting a holistic approach to mental health.

• Monitor client progress over time, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Communicate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to integrated care.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders and therapy techniques to continually enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you'll be serving range from adolescents to adults dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and trauma. Many clients seek our services for the first time, so it’s essential that you bring empathy and understanding to each session, helping them feel safe and heard. You will also work with families, guiding them through complex dynamics and fostering healthier relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
