Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a primary focus on cardiac patients, including those with Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, NSTEMI, and Arrhythmias
• Manage patients with respiratory conditions including COPD, Pneumonia, and Respiratory Failure
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for assigned patients
• Float to other campus locations as needed per facility policy
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as required
• Pass a compliance EKG exam prior to or during onboarding (two attempts permitted)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit setting
• Familiarity with a multi-campus health system environment and floating between units
• Experience managing patients with both cardiac and respiratory diagnoses concurrently
