As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Verify identification, credentials, access authorizations, and visitor documentation before permitting entry to controlled areas. Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and security-related systems; document and report unusual activity, access discrepancies, and policy violations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access. Minimum Requirements: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
