Security Guard - Shift Supervisor

Summary: The Shift Supervisors role includes but is not limited to monitoring Security Guard performance, ensuring the Security Force perform their assigned duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and/or regulatory requirements; they are responsible for correcting/reporting any/all deficiencies to the Site Lead. Additionally, the Shift Supervisor will inspect employees to ensure they are fit for duty and are in compliance with all established dress and appearance standards, and have in their possession all required, equipment, and credentials. Applicants selected will be subject to a background/security investigation and must be drug free and remain drug free during period of employment. This position reports directly to the Site Lead. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Woking with LENEL access control system Issue/Control Access Badges CCTV alarm monitoring Perform entry/exit control Conduct vehicle/foot patrol duties, emergency and alarm response Conduct routine security checks and administrative inspections Identify/report security anomalies Maintain security logbooks. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE: Valid DCJS Security License Valid State Driver’s License Eligible to receive a DBIDS pass Eligible for a NATO SECRET security clearance Knowledge of LENEL access control system Familiar with day-to-day operations of CCTV systems REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: As reflected in Essential Duties and Responsibilities WORK ENVIRONMENT: Involves long period of sitting at monitoring desks, standing at entry points, and/or walking patrols to ensure safety, may require shift work including night, weekends, and holidays PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: May require lifting up to 25 pounds. WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain/maintain a NATO SECRET security clearance ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS: As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
