About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Project Finance to take on a pivotal role in leading the financial aspects of a growing distributed energy pipeline. The successful candidate will be responsible for project and portfolio-level financing, engaging with developers, underwriting credit, and structuring assets to be investor-ready. This role is essential for building a strong platform that integrates renewable energy project finance, developer-side execution, and structured capital markets. Key responsibilities include leading the financing processes for various distributed energy assets, such as solar, storage, and EV charging projects, and managing the entire spectrum of financing, from structuring and negotiating different financial solutions to assessing project-level credit quality. Applicants for the Head of Project Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in project finance, structured finance, capital markets, private credit, or renewable energy finance. A strong background in distributed energy assets, particularly in the areas of residential solar, community solar, C&I solar, solar + storage, and EV charging, is highly valued. The role requires a proven track record in closing financing transactions and a deep understanding of various financial structures, including tax equity, project debt, and securitization. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse range of financial stakeholders and be adept at operating in an early-stage, high-growth environment.
