Job responsibilities Responsible for managing a team of packaging and processing personnel. Assign tasks, provide training, and ensure that the team operates efficiently. Ensuring the quality and accuracy of packaging. Leads are responsible for establishing and maintaining strict quality control procedures. Keeping track of inventory levels, ordering supplies, and coordinating with other departments. Improve packaging and processing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Overseeing that all safety regulations are followed. Maintaining accurate records of packaging and processing activities. Working closely with other departments, such as shipping, receiving, and customer service. Addressing issues and discrepancies in packaging and processing promptly, identifying the root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Ensuring that goods are prepared for shipment in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations. This role requires a combination of leadership, logistics expertise, and attention to detail to maintain the smooth flow of goods within the supply chain. Qualifications Master’s Degree Minimum 2 years work experience as Packaging & Processing Lead (CPP) Certified Packaging Proffesional or, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP): The APICS organization issued. Forklift Operator Certification: If you interact with loading forks or other equipment. Effective communication with team members and other departments is necessary for a smooth logistics operation.
