Full Charge Bookkeeper (Staff Accountant) - Full Time (Woodland Hills)
Blankstein & Company
CPA firm in Woodland Hills seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant.
Candidate MUST have 3-5 years of recent experience in a CPA/public accounting firm. We will NOT consider any candidate that don't have this requirement. This position is in office only, remote work is NOT possible at this time. We are a fast-paced office with a wide range of clients in various industries. The ideal candidate must be detailed oriented and understand the bookkeeping/accounting process from start to finish. Job Requirements:• Minimum 3-5 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience in a CPA office - REQUIRED
• Must have strong computer skills including QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Excel, Word
• Tech-savvy, comfortable using various software and applications
• Strong understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation
• Ability to communicate and interreact professionally with clients and tax agencies
• Must work under strict deadlines and manage multiple clients
• Enthusiastic and demonstrate the ability to learn and work efficiently
• Be an important part of a team in a small accounting office setting Job Duties including but not limited to:
• Write-up work (monthly, quarterly and annual)
• Posting to a general ledger, journal entries through preparation of financial statements
• Bank reconciliations
• Business Management
• Client payroll and quarterly/annual payroll tax returns & W-2’s
• 1099’s
• Sales tax returns (multi-state)
• City business tax filings
• Property tax statement filings This is an in-person, full-time position with potential overtime on weekends during the busy season. Salary range is $60k-$80K, is competitive based on experience.
