Operating Room Nurse – Surgical Services

Schedule: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours

Requirements:

• Active New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate
• 2+ years of current Operating Room experience
• Float experience to vascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, robotic surgery, urology, and ENT
• Travel experience
• EPIC experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Scrub and circulate experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Permanent address matching identification required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide surgical patient care through assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment.
• Educate patients pre and post-operatively.
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being throughout the surgical care continuum.
• Integrate and coordinate patient care across various surgical specialties.

Compliance / Notes:

• Non-billable orientation: 8 hours
• RTO requests must be noted and verified at upload; no changes will be accepted post-upload.
• Compliance with COVID vaccination recommendations is encouraged but not mandatory.
