Job Description Job Description About the Role: JMOS in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for an energetic and passionate Bartender/Server to join our team! If you love crafting great drinks, creating memorable guest experiences, and thriving in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. Hourly Wage is $5 plus tips. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest requests Engage guests with friendly, attentive, and professional customer service Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times Process guest orders and payments accurately using a POS system Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible serving guidelines Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless guest experience Assist with, restocking, and opening/closing duties and cleaning Greet Guests: Welcome customers, present menus, and explain daily specials. Take Orders: Accurately record food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Serve Items: Deliver food and drinks from the kitchen and bar to the correct tables. Check In: Monitor tables, anticipate needs, and provide refills. Process Payments: Deliver itemized checks and handle cash or credit card transactions. Clean and Reset: Bus dirty dishes, wipe tables, and complete side-work tasks. Requirements: Previous restaurant and bartending experience preferred Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume environment RAMP or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain) Must meet Pennsylvania legal age requirements to serve alcohol (18 yrs of age) Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays Must be able to lift 40lbs Must be able to do steps About Us: JMOS is a proud fixture of the Dormont, PA community, dedicated to delivering outstanding food, drinks, and hospitality to every guest who walks through our doors.
