We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing & Business Development Specialist to support our
growth initiatives and help expand our presence in the education and technology markets.
Position Summary
The Marketing & Business Development Specialist will be responsible for executing marketing
campaigns, supporting business development efforts, engaging customers, managing digital
content, and strengthening FTG's brand presence across multiple channels.
This position works closely with the Sales and Business Development teams to drive customer
engagement, support lead generation efforts, reactivate dormant accounts, and promote FTG's
products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Customer Engagement
• Create and execute email marketing campaigns.
• Develop customer outreach and re-engagement campaigns.
• Support customer retention and relationship-building activities.
• Help identify opportunities to re-engage dormant customer accounts.
Sales & Business Development Support
• Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to support revenue growth initiatives.
• Research target school districts, organizations, and prospective customers.
• Maintain prospect intelligence and competitive information within CRM systems.
• Assist with lead generation and follow-up campaigns.
• Support strategic account initiatives and customer acquisition efforts.
CRM & Marketing Automation
• Manage and maintain HubSpot CRM.
• Create and manage customer lists, workflows, and automated campaigns.
• Track customer engagement and marketing performance.
• Ensure CRM data accuracy and organization.
Content Marketing, Blogging & Video Creation
• Research, write, and publish blog articles related to Chromebook repair, K-12 technology, device
lifecycle management, ITAD, sourcing solutions, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to develop relevant content.
• Create customer success stories, case studies, and educational content.
• Plan, record, edit, and publish video content for LinkedIn, the company website, email campaigns,
trade shows, and other marketing channels.
• Create short-form videos highlighting repair processes, warehouse operations, product offerings,
customer success stories, employee spotlights, and company initiatives.
• Repurpose content into email campaigns, LinkedIn posts, website updates, sales collateral, and
trade show materials.
Digital Marketing
• Manage and grow FTG's LinkedIn presence.
• Update and maintain website content.
• Assist with SEO and online visibility initiatives.
Graphic Design & Brand Management
• Design marketing collateral, flyers, brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Create graphics for email campaigns, social media, trade shows, and website content.
Trade Shows & Events
• Assist with planning and preparation for trade shows and industry events.
• Design booth graphics and promotional materials.
• Coordinate event logistics and marketing support.
Marketplace & Online Sales Support
• Assist with eBay and marketplace listing optimization.
• Create product descriptions and promotional content.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, business development support, customer engagement, or a
related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience with HubSpot preferred.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred.
• Experience creating and editing video content preferred.
• B2B marketing experience preferred.
Compensation
• $55,000 – $70,000 annually, based on experience.
• Performance-based bonus opportunities.
