Advanced Scientific Support Specialist

Advanced Scientific Support Associate role supporting Bio-Techne's Asuragen product line. Responds to technical inquiries from customers and commercial teams, provides troubleshooting assistance, and documents issues in CRM systems while mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Answer and document customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding product techniques and troubleshooting
- Train new staff and provide guidance to junior Scientific Support Associates
- Log customer communications and complaints in Salesforce CRM and Quality Management System
- Collaborate with Technical Service, Customer Care, and Sales teams on customer needs resolution
- Document recurring technical issues and monitor department procedures for SOP compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, or equivalent field
- 2-5 years of directly related laboratory or technical experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical writing ability
- Customer service or sales experience preferred
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Compensation: $62,300.00 - $102,350.00
