Processing Technician- A Shift (3:45am-4pm)

Job Description Position Summary: Operate extrusion, milling, and seasoning equipment in accordance with established procedures and production schedules. Monitor equipment performance and product quality, making process adjustments as needed to maintain operational efficiency and product specifications. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production. Perform routine maintenance, equipment inspections, and basic repairs to support reliable equipment operation. Prepare, stage, and load raw materials according to standard operating procedures. Perform equipment disassembly, cleaning, sanitation, and reassembly to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, maintenance, quality, and other departments to support production goals. Maintain accurate production, quality, and operational records as required. Participate in training programs related to GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, SQF, food safety, quality systems, and workplace safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company policies, food safety requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures. Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with special projects as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience operating food processing, manufacturing, or industrial equipment preferred. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, food safety, and workplace safety. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
