Recreational Therapist

Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic recreational therapist to join our team. As a recreational therapist, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of clients and developing and implementing therapeutic programs to enhance their physical, emotional, and social well-being. The successful candidate will have experience working with a diverse range of individuals with different abilities, ages, and backgrounds. Responsibilities: Conducting assessments to determine the needs of clients Developing and implementing individualized therapeutic programs Monitoring and evaluating clients’ progress Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of clients’ progress and treatment plans Participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities Ensuring that therapeutic programs are safe, effective, and in compliance with regulatory requirements Providing education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on the benefits of recreational therapy Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in recreational therapy, or a related field Certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) Experience working with individuals with different abilities, ages, and backgrounds Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments Basic computer skills and ability to maintain electronic records #J-18808-Ljbffr Torres Behavioral Health LLC
