Gas Turbine Mechanic

Summary:
- Location: Houston, TX
- Duration: 6 Months
- This role is a 2nd shift based working pattern: Monday-Friday -2pm-10:30pm OT and Weekends
- Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform visual inspections of Aero/Module Equipment.
- Assist in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
- Perform all tests with minimal instruction and provide technical support across the business.
- Comply with HS&E policies.
- Work as a team member to follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair of units and rotating equipment under time constraints.
- Provide on-site support as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of overhaul and repair experience in at least one of the following areas: Aero, GE10, PGT 10/PGT 25, Frame 3/Frame 5.
- Good knowledge of HSE requirements and ability to follow and update safety policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tooling.
- Ability to accurately use precision measuring equipment (ID/OD/depth micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Deep mechanical aptitude with the ability to independently comprehend complex machining or assembly drawings.
