You will be responsible for a variety of invoice and expense report processing activities, including researching and resolving related issues.You will play an important role in ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining accurate financial records and effective controls, and delivering a positive experience for employees, suppliers, and business partners.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESReview and process invoices/expense reports in an accurate and timely fashion as per compliance requirementsResearch and resolve invoices, expense report, or payment discrepancies in a timely and professional mannerRespond promptly and professionally to inquiries from employees, internal business partners, vendors, and other external partnersEnsure compliance with company policies and internal controls related to AP activitiesComplete assigned month-end Accounts Payable closing activitiesSupport reporting, documentation, process improvements, and Accounts Payable projectsProvide backup coverage and support ad hoc requests and special assignments as neededREQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRINGMinimum of an associate degree; Accounting, Finance, or a related business field preferred2+ years of Accounts Payable experience or equivalent business experienceQualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorshipPREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLSExperience with SAP, Concur expense management, or credit card administration systemsIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and TeamsAbility to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detailStrong team player with the ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong organizational, communication, research, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and internal control best practicesAbility to adapt to change and willingness to learn new skillsStrong customer service skills with the ability to effectively support employees, vendors, and internal business partnersJOB REQUIREMENTSFull-time, first-shift positionRemote work is available one day per week following the 90-day onboarding periodThis role is not eligible for relocationBENEFITS AND PERKSSC Johnson’s total compensation packages are at or above industry levels.
