Caregivers are responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living such as personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Other responsibilities include providing companionship, transportation, and ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving or senior care, minimum 2 years preferred
• Experience in personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with a willingness to travel throughout Tehachapi and the surrounding areas (Bear Valley Springs, Mojave, Rosamond, California City, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for providing companionship and emotional support
• Basic knowledge of medication reminders and safety practices
• Ability to pass background checks with work-related references
• Must provide proof of a negative TB test or chest X-ray
• High school diploma or equivalent; CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

CA Registered Home Care Aide

• Registration is required through the Homecare Service Bureau of California and proof of issuance of the 10 digit pers ID number. ( If you are not a registered Home Care Aide we will give you information on how to become registered.)
