Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Location: Gallatin, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to patients of all ages, including geriatric and adult populations, and demonstrate proficiency in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical/telemetry environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans and discharge processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid RN license to practice in Tennessee.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
• Experience with IV insertion is mandatory.
