Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Location: Gallatin, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide quality healthcare to the adult and geriatric patient population in a Medical/Surgical setting. You will be required to perform nursing assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• NIH certification is preferred.
