Process Engineer – Advanced Materials ManufacturingOur client, a leading organization in advanced materials manufacturing and medical imaging technology, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing and Process Development organization, supporting Production, Engineering, Quality, and R&D teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a hands-on approach to manufacturing and laboratory operations that will contribute to success within the organization.Job Title: Process Engineer – Advanced Materials Manufacturing Location: Rockford, TN Pay Range: $29.59 - $35.74/hourWhat's the Job?Execute manufacturing processes for advanced materials production, including chemical precursor preparation, synthesis, powder processing, milling, sieving, and thermal treatment.Operate laboratory and production equipment supporting pilot-scale and large-volume manufacturing activities.Maintain process documentation, batch records, inventory tracking, sample management, and production data.Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to support process improvements and production scalability.Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards while ensuring efficient and repeatable manufacturing operations.What's Needed?Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Hands-on experience in a laboratory, pilot production, manufacturing, or technical process environment.Experience operating equipment, following standard operating procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation.Exposure to chemical processing, advanced materials manufacturing, powder handling, synthesis, or thermal processing is highly preferred.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.What's in it for Me?Competitive pay ranging from $29.59 to $35.74 per hour.Opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technologies supporting healthcare and medical imaging applications.Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.Valuable experience in process scale-up, production operations, and advanced materials manufacturing.Potential opportunity for long-term career growth and conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
