Maintenance Technician

Shift: 1st and 2nd shifts available Pay: $28 plus Direct Hire

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Inspect, test, and repair machinery to ensure optimal operation
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime

Requirements:

• 3–5 years' experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing equipment repair
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other lifting equipment

Nice-to-Have / Preferred:

• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Welding or fabrication experience
• Experience with CNC machines or automated production lines
• HVAC or pneumatic system experience

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk 100% of the shift, bend/squat up to 25%, climb ladders or stairs up to 20%, and reach overhead or work in confined spaces as needed. Work Environment: Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, varying temperatures, and some noise.

Compensation & Incentives:

• At 90 Days: $500 sign-on bonus upon achieving a productivity level of 85% or higher
• At 6 Months:
  • If productivity reaches 90%, receive an additional $500
  • If productivity reaches 95% or higher, receive an additional $1,000
• General: Eligible for all benefits on day 1; 401k matching up to 4.5%; 3 weeks PTO (prorated based on start date within a calendar year); paid holiday
