- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Dependency, Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Nursing or a related field
OR
- Bachelor's Degree with 18 college credits in Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Criminal Justice or other related social sciences
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
- FBI Clearance Completed through the Department of Human Services
Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is seeking a full time Drug and Alcohol Case Manager to join our Lebanon Team!
In this position you would be working with drug and alcohol clients providing a full range of case management services.
Main job duties would include:
- Conduct intakes, assess needs, link to resources
- Screen and assess to determine treatment options
- Work with local emergency rooms and first responders to connect individuals with services and resources
- Work within the community to build relationships with resources
- Provide ongoing support for sustained recovery from substance use
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure individual needs are met
- Work with local probation, state parole and county correctional facility to ensure individuals' needs are met upon re-entry into the community
- Work with local community events to provide support to the local recovery community
- Collaborating closely with drug and alcohol inpatient and withdrawal management providers to facilitate admissions and support discharge planning
