: Overview: D610 requires a Financial Business System Representative to develop and sustain the Oracle EBS Projects Module including both custom software modifications as well as native oracle processes. This role will assist with development and implementation of procedures to populate, source, and accurately manage Electric Boat's Work- In -Process information within the Oracle Projects module. The individual will work collaboratively with Department 604 EB IT software engineers and various EB Finance and Accounting personnel to ensure information accuracy and compliance with governmental accounting requirements. The Finance Business Representative will also work closely with various consulting groups to improve the current software configuration. Respond to changes in business reporting and compliance requirements requiring modifications to the existing process and improving the systems usability and functionality. Tasks include:
Developing Project Work breakdown structures
Executing and distributing routine reports to users
Responds to ad hoc request
Create tasks
Prepare More4Apps templates for upload, especially for new forecast projects
Run Query to ID inconsistencies in line code reporting attributes
Prepare source data for entry by compiling and sorting information including but not limited to updating Oracle range table with SO range changes from Program Finance, PBM & FA approver changes
Run/ generate Draft Revenue process, business analysis for issue, enhancement and report CRs - gathering requirements, documents, testing, validating.
Qualifications: Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Concentration: Accounting, Finance/Economics, Computer Science, or a related field)
10 years of related experience
Experience with Oracle's EBS Financial Modules - General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM) and Fixed Assets (FA)
Experience using PS SQL (Code writing / Database querying)
Experience with the process of software migration from (Test thru Production)
Internal candidates must be from a department outside of the Operations organization (Casciano/Gabriel)
Preferred:
Experience using Jira software for defect tracking and project oversight
Knowledge of the existing EB Mainframe Financial Systems
Experience working in a highly regulated industry
Skills:
Strong in the use of Microsoft Office Products
Ability to build relationships across all departments and levels within each organization
Experience gathering and analyzing data to resolve business system issues
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to communicate effectively, in particular on technical data issues
Ability to work both independently or as a member of a team
