Registered Nurse (RN) Float PoolStatus/FTE: FT / 0.8 FTEShift length: 12 hoursStart Time: 0700Unit: Adult Float Pool (ICU/PCU, Med/Surg, Extended stay, ED, Rehab)Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Three (3) 12-hour shifts weekly, every third weekend and holidays by rotationRequired qualifications:Current state RN licenseAssociate's degree from an accredited nursing schoolBLS for Healthcare Provider upon hireTwo (2) years bedside RN experiencePreferred qualifications:ACLS, PALS, and Handle with CareFive (5) years bedside RN experienceAdditional Information/Department information: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents.
