Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a unit serving a mix of Medical-Surgical Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Maintain patient ratios of 5–6 patients per nurse
• Float within the facility and to sister facilities within the local area as needed
• Accurately document patient care activities using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact License required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (2 years preferred; exceptions may be considered)
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Ability to work every other holiday as required
• Must be able to complete fingerprinting, drug screening, and all required compliance steps within 24–48 hours of signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• 2 supervisor references preferred
• Prior telemetry or PCU nursing experience
