Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment to identify needs and goals.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans, based on thorough consultations with clients, ensuring that these plans evolve in response to ongoing evaluations and progress.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals and couples, providing tools and strategies to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and enhance overall functioning.

• Engage in ongoing review of clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in circumstances and therapeutic needs.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including detailed progress notes and treatment history, in compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care and ensure continuity of services for clients.

• Prepare to deliver crisis intervention services when required, offering immediate support to clients in distress or facing emergencies.

• Stay informed about the latest research, techniques, and best practices in marriage and family therapy, actively participating in professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counseling clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, across various age groups. You will work with clients dealing with a wide array of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and behavioral issues among youth. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
