Maintenance Technician

Storey Park Association, located in Orlando, FL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Compensation $24 per hour Education/Experience High school diploma or GED. Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on building, facility, or HOA/apartment/community maintenance experience. Basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC at a light‑repair level. Ability and willingness to obtain Florida CPO or equivalent public pool operator certification within 6 months of hire. Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, and use email, text, and simple computer applications (Word/Excel or similar). Prior experience maintaining pools and spas in a Florida HOA, apartment, resort, or club environment. Spanish language skills a plus for communicating with a diverse resident community. Experience with fitness equipment at a basic troubleshooting level. Familiarity with Florida building, life safety, and public pool regulations relevant to common‑area facilities. Physical Demands Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds. Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate. Certificates/Licenses Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation. Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co‑workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
