Job Summary T he Test Engineering Technician is responsible for performing hands-on testing, debugging, and validation of electronic assemblies and subsystems in a lab environment. This role requires 1–3 years of experience and involves executing test plans, documenting results, troubleshooting failures down to the component level, and collaborating with design and quality engineers to identify root causes and drive corrective actions. Key Responsibilities Exec ute test plans and document results for electronic assemblies and subsystems Troubleshoot failures down to the component level and support corrective actions Collaborate with engineers to identify root causes and drive improvements Perform soldering and rework including fine-pitch soldering and cable harnessing Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts Operate test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, power supplies, and signal generators Capture and analyze signals to interpret electrical performance data Ensure product reliability by validating products against rigorous performance standards Required Qualifications Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in test engineering or related technical roles Strong soldering and rework skills including fine-pitch soldering and cable harnessing Ability to read and interpret schematics and PCB layouts Proficiency in operating test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, power supplies, and signal generators Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmen t Preferred Qualifications Experience in debugging electronic subsystems and validating performance standards Familiarity with quality assurance processes in electronics manufacturing Education Minimum of an Associate’s degree (AA) in engineering or a related technical field Education: Associate's Degree
