H1B visa sponsorship is available for this position./ppOpportunities for position location:/pulliSacramento, CA/li/ulh3Position Overview/h3pThe scheduler is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to support the successful planning and execution of commercial construction projects. This role ensures accurate forecasting of timelines, resource allocation, and sequencing of activities across all phases of construction. The scheduler works closely with project managers, superintendents, estimators, and subcontractors to provide schedule visibility, risk identification, and proactive solutions that keep projects on track./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliDevelop detailed baseline schedules for preconstruction, procurement, and construction activities using industry-standard scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent)./liliMaintain and update project schedules throughout all phases of the project lifecycle./liliCoordinate with project teams, superintendents, and subcontractors to gather accurate activity durations, sequencing, and progress updates./liliPerform schedule analyses, including critical path, variance, and what-if scenarios, to forecast impacts and recommend recovery strategies./liliGenerate and distribute regular schedule reports, narratives, and look-ahead schedules to stakeholders./liliSupport the estimating and preconstruction team with schedule input for bids, proposals, and project planning./liliIdentify potential scheduling risks and work with project leadership to develop mitigation strategies./liliEnsure schedule compliance with contractual requirements and company standards./liliAssist in resource loading and leveling, ensuring labor and equipment availability aligns with project timelines./liliSupport project close-out by maintaining accurate as-built schedules./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)./lili3+ years of scheduling experience in the commercial construction industry, preferably with a general contractor./liliProficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)./liliStrong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and logistics./liliAbility to interpret construction documents, specifications, and contracts./liliExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail./liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with subcontractors./liliAbility to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment./li/ulh3What Were Looking For/h3ulliValid drivers license./liliProficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Procore, and scheduling software./liliAbility to read and interpret documents such as plans and specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals./liliKnowledge of construction principles/practices required./liliSelf-starter with strong organizational, file management, and time management skills./liliProven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a team-based environment./liliAbility to problem solve and develop outcomes with multiple stakeholders./liliA knowledge seeker who will ask why and research things they do not understand./liliSomeone who can work hard and play hard!/li/ulpSalary: $100k - $180k (depending on experience)/ppBenefits:/pulli100% health insurance for employee/lili401(k) with company match/liliDental/vision insurance/liliPaid time off/liliSick days/liliWellness days/liliPaid holidays/liliDiscretionary bonus/liliCompany sponsored events in the community/liliRecruiting bonuses/liliCompany credit card/liliPhone allowance/liliAnnual Christmas party with hotel/liliUse of SBJ Kings Suite - Light the Beam!/li/ul/div
