Fund Accountant

Join a growing investment organization seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to support a diverse portfolio of real estate investment funds. This is an outstanding opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their expertise in fund accounting, financial reporting, and investor reporting while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare quarterly workpapers, financial statements, footnote disclosures, and investor reports for a portfolio of real estate investment funds. Support annual audits by coordinating with external auditors and providing required documentation. Record tax-related journal entries for funds and related entities. Assist with quarterly and annual GAAP financial projections. Prepare and evaluate annual impairment analyses. Review annual 1099 reporting. Respond to investor requests and assist with special projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (3.0 GPA or higher preferred). 3-4+ years of accounting experience. CPA and/or public accounting experience is highly preferred. Investment, fund, or real estate accounting experience is a plus. Familiarity with partnership tax returns is beneficial. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Willingness to work additional hours during peak reporting season.
