COATING OPERATOR (Day Shift)

Job Title

Key Functions:

• Perform multiple tasks to include inspection, cleaning, masking, grit blasting, glass bead peening and coating of components
• Ability to use hand tools
• Ability to correctly use measuring devices (i.e. micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)
• Ability to follow, interpret and act on written and verbal job instructions, reports, technical manuals and data
• Operate coating booths as required
• Practice and ensure good shop safety practices
• Monitors tool and equipment calibration
• Input process data into system
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of previous thermal spray operation experience
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to successfully communicate with others
• Ability to follow material control processes

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

Work Environment:

• Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted
• Ability to operate fork trucks
• Able to stand for 8+ hour shifts
• Heavily focused attention to detail
