What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and infrastructure with minimal supervision.
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems, power distribution systems, boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, dryers, process water systems, plumbing, lighting, load docks, and building infrastructure.
- Perform daily facility inspections and document findings.
- Complete preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
- Utilize electrical meters, diagnostic equipment, schematics, and technical drawings to identify and resolve issues.
- Install, repair, rebuild, and refurbish facility equipment and systems.
- Update drawings and documentation while recommending spare parts and system improvements.
- Support continuous improvement projects and new installations.
- Maintain a safe work environment while following company procedures and government regulations.
- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to support manufacturing operations.
Required
- Journeyman's Card or equivalent maintenance experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a Facilities Maintenance Technician Aptitude Test.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical codes and safe work practices.
- Experience using diagnostic equipment, electrical meters, calipers, dial indicators, and precision measuring tools.
