Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU

• Provide high-quality post-anesthetic care to patients
• Monitor patient recovery, managing vital signs and pain levels
• Coordinate with surgical and nursing teams for patient handover
• Document patient information and care given in the EMR (Meditech)
• Manage patient ratios typically 1RN:2 patients or 1 RN:1 patient

Requirements of the RN - PACU

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PACU RN experience
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Flexibility with working hours
• Experience with Meditech is preferred
