# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – Kansas Start Date: September 7, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM shift, on-call required with 30-minute response time Highlights:

• 30-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit supporting diverse surgical procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic cases
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on patient acuity
• Collaborative team environment with experienced nursing staff and dedicated charge nurse support
• EMR system: Meditech
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 12 nurses ensuring strong team support
• Travel assignment offering competitive compensation and benefits package

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU experience required
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Flexibility with scheduling preferred
• Prior Meditech experience strongly preferred
