About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - PACU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00 - 21:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PACU RN experience - BLS & ACLS certifications Description: Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. Work in a 30-bed recovery room with a team of nurses and charge staff. Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 2 patients and 1 nurse to 1 patient for closer monitoring. Experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech, is preferred. Candidates should be flexible with hours and able to meet on-call requirements with a 30-minute response time. A positive attitude and the ability to manage stress are essential. Focus on delivering a high-quality patient experience is a priority. Typical procedures include craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries. Consider opportunities for working with new equipment and technology.
